It is written in Psalms 11 vs 3:If the foundations be destroyed, what can the righteous do?(KJV)
My Dear Friend, in the architectural world, foundation is the base upon which a building is erected.
The foundation will determine the type of building to be erected. The stronger the foundation, the larger and mighty the structure on it could be. And when the foundation is limited in strength and size, then the smaller the structure it will be able to carry.
The foundation of every building is always hidden and dirty. No builder decorates the foundation.
Our lives can be compared to a building while the root of our births represent our foundations. Your foundation refers to your ancestors. The family through which God introduced you into this world. It is a true fact that the successes you record are determined by the strength of your foundation. No person can be bigger than his/her foundation except the Lord helps him/her.
Lamentations 5 vs 7-10 says Our fathers have sinned, and are not; and we have borne their iniquities. Servants have ruled over us: there is none that doth deliver us out of their hand. We gat our bread with the peril of our lives because of the sword of the wilderness. Our skin was black like an oven because of the terrible famine.(KJV)
Biologically you inherited the genes of your parents. Who in turn must have inherited from their own parents. Your character and attitude are directly transferable from your father/mother.
Likewise, the battles going on in many lives are consequences of the past activities of their father/mother, paternal/maternal grand-fathers, great-grandfathers etc. Not forgetting what the Lord says in Ex.20 vs 5: Thou shalt not bow down thyself to them, nor serve them: for I the Lord thy God am a jealous God, visiting the iniquity of the fathers upon the children unto the third and fourth generation of them that hate me. Regrettably, the problems of foundation have completely destroyed many lives.
Beloved, to be frank with you, 70% of the causes of battles of your life are traceable and determined by the issue of foundation. Foundational battles are strong, stubborn and destructive. The issues of foundation are dirty and non-attractive.
Your battles determine the fulfilment or otherwise of your destiny. And when the battles you lose are more than the ones you win then failure is knocking in the corner. The target of those battles is to steal, kill and destroy.
Ignorance of the battles is not an excuse. Meanwhile, to gain insights and deeper understanding of your battles you need to ask yourself genuine and sometimes difficult questions.
Such as:
1.Who are/were your parents, grand and great-parents?
2.What was their profession?fishermen,hunters,drummers?
3.Is/was there any altar, image or shine in your family home?
4.Was any of your parents cursed or had cursed anyone?
5.Is there a common destructive habit ?anger, adultery, teenage pregnancy etc in the family.
6.Now that you are a Christian, do you get more attacked than before?
7.What is the meaning of your family name and your names?
8.While you were in the womb, where did your mother carry you to?
9.Where were you born? Hospital?, herbalist home?, church?
10.Are you from a polygamous home?
11.Has an animal ever been offered as a sacrifice in your family or for or by you?
12.Why the incisions on my body, if any?
13.Did you or your parents ever wore the so called protective amulets on their neck, waist or leg?
14.Has/had any of your parents confessed to witchcraft?
15.Is/was there an ungodly dedication in place? Are you dedicated to an evil altar?
16.Are/were your parents properly married?
17.Did your parents participated in traditional festivals in your village? This is idolatry
18.Did any of your parents or you accepted a chieftaincy tittle?
19.Was there a case of incest in your family line?
20.Are you from a royal family? You need double spiritual checks and overhauling. I am a testimony to His glory.
What to do?
1.Repent from every known and unknown sin.
2.Declare a spiritual war. Wage a determined holy war.
3.Pray hot and uncommon prayers.
May the God of great deliverance, arise and speak solutions into your life in Jesus name.

1.Witchcraft seed in my foundation, be uprooted in Jesus name.
2.Every power of parental errors in my life catch fire, in the name of Jesus.
3.Serpent of destruction hiding in my foundation, be destroyed in the name of Jesus

5.Blood of Jesus, purge my foundation in the name of Jesus.
6.My hidden family history be exposed to me by fire, in the name of Jesus.
7.Holy Ghost fire reconstruct my life for the best in the name of Jesus.
