It is written in Job 14 vs 1: Man, that is born of a woman is of few days and full of trouble. (KJV)

Psalm 34 vs 19-20:Many are the afflictions of the righteous: but the Lord delivereth him out of them all. He keepeth all his bones: not one of them is broken. (KJV)

My Dear Friend, our world is presently in an unprecedented chaos. Uncertainties and confusion are the orders of the day. Leaders that were once noted to be strong-willed and focused are really struggling and un-sure of the situation.

In the midst of all these, there is a word of encouragement from the throne of grace for you, never forget that in the presence of God there is fullness of joy and at His right hand there are pleasure forevermore.

The above 2 passages confirm to us that trouble is inevitable in the making of a man. The truth is that life’s package for everyone comes with a measure of dark moments.

Just as the fingers of our hands are not equal and are meant for different purposes, so also our level of issues come with differences and categorization.

Thus, there are categories of people reading this piece:1.Some are, at the moment, full of life and happy 2.Some are indeed confused 3.Some are desperate 4.Some are struggling  5.Some are doubting the goodness of God 6.Some are physically sick 7.the inner man of some is sick 8.Heavy thinking is leading some to be considering giving up 9.Some husbands are tormenting their wives physically and psychologically 10.Some wives have turned the home to the battle field of words 11.Some face opposition even where least expected 12.Some have deep wounds that have left a negative mark upon their lives.

Whichever category or situation you find yourself, there is a spirit that you must lock the door of your heart against. It is common and majority of us are guilty.

It is the spirit of murmuring, which is a chronic spiritual armed robber, it robs us of the manifestation of our expectations. It makes us to forget what God had done in the past but only remembering what He has not done.

Meanwhile, Philippians 2 vs 14 says do everything without murmuring.

What then is murmuring? It is to silently or loudly complain or grumble about an unpleasant situation or a person with a critical or negative spirit.

Murmuring comes with a spoken or unspoken negative attitude towards a situation or person. Our attitude is a direct reflection of the spirit that lives inside or controls our lives, not forgetting that out of the abundance of the heart the mouth speaks.

Murmuring is a sin yet it is so common, easily and frequently done that some do not even know when they engage in it.

For example, have you noted how much we complain about the weather? too hot, too cold, too much snow etc. Do you realise that some people complain and murmur about many things and at the slightest opportunity?

Murmuring is an invitation to the anger of God; it really displeases Him. It is a silent killer that creates a gap between man and God.

When God decided to intervene and deliver the Israelites from Egypt, one displeasing thing they constantly did was to murmur at the slightest opposition.

Exodus 16 vs 2 says and the whole congregation of the children of Israel murmured against Moses and Aaron in the wilderness.

More often, when people do not have their way, we forget the good old days. God had done wonders in the palace of Pharaoh, yet the Israelites ignored the confidence and trust of the Lord, so easily. How forgetful they were? Same is happening today.

There are peculiarities about every nation/people:As a nation, the Egyptians are known for been:  1.The task-master 2. The slave driver 3. The burden giver 4. Stubborn pursuers 5. Multiplier of sorrow and affliction 6. The power that challenges God’s power 7. Trouble manufacturers 8. Egypt represents an attractive land of bondage.

Pitifully and regrettably, many people claim to be spiritual Israelites but they are operating under the spirit of bondage.

The question is, with all the negative qualities of Egypt why were the Israelites still attracted to the Egyptians?

It is very strange!  why did they look back when God had promised Canaan-the land that flows with milk and honey?

Murmuring has the capability to deny you of God given peace, joy, and future promises. It makes you forget about God and unconsciously give credit to the devil.

It is a wicked entity that has robbed so many people of quality relationships-there are marriages that have quickly ended in separation because of complaints and murmuring when a little endurance or patience was required for survival and restoration.

The bible says In Numbers 11 vs 1 And when the people complained, it displeased the Lord: and the Lord heard it, and his anger was kindled, and the fire of the Lord burnt among them and consumed them that were in the uttermost parts of the camp.

My dear friend, murmuring and unholy complaining draws the anger of God.

Except for Caleb and Joshua, the adult generation that left Egypt did not enter into the promised land because of murmuring. We see this in Numbers 14 vs 29-30: Your carcasses shall fall in this wilderness; and all that were numbered of you, according to your whole number, from twenty years old and upward which have murmured against me. Doubtless, ye shall not come into the land, concerning which I sware to make you dwell therein, save Caleb the son of Jephunneh, and Joshua the son of Nun.

My dear friend, the situation you are in now may not be the best but know that some people are begging to be in your situation.

As from now on, be more conscious and never allow anxiety to lead you into murmuring but rather through prayer and supplications, let your requests be made known to God.

You, as a child of God, prophetically carry promises of God that will turn your situation to the best. None of your bones shall be broken.

Stop murmuring today and enter into your promised land.

Prayer Rain:
1.Secret problems, open problems on assignment to disgrace me, evaporate in the name of Jesus.
2.Covenant of impossibility over my life, break in the name of Jesus.
3.Satanic candles burning against my home, lose your power in the name of Jesus.
4.Garment of affliction over my life, catch fire in the name of Jesus.
5.Voice of God, speak for me where I cannot speak for myself, in the name of Jesus.
6.Spirit of murmuring, leave me alone, be separated from me in the name of Jesus.
7.Mercy of the Lord, overshadow my life in the name of Jesus.

Remain Blessed and Rapturable in Jesus name.
