It is written in Acts 3 vs 2:And a certain man lame from his mother’s womb was carried, whom they laid daily at the gate of the temple which is called Beautiful, to ask alms of them that entered into the temple.
My dear friend, let us briefly consider a crucial matter.
Names are very important, not only in the physical realm but much more in the spiritual realm.
There is a spirit behind every name. The name a person bears or that a thing is called has a lot of influence on the strength and the importance of that entity.
In the above passage, the gate where the lame man was daily laid was called Beautiful.
What a wonder for a gate to be so named. Apart from been the gate of the temple, that gate was of course not an ordinary one.
To be called Beautiful, that gate:
1.must have been peculiar
2.must have been a special one
3.must have been uncommon
4.must have given very good feelings to people
5.must have stood out amongst the rest
6.must have commanded respect
7.must have been treated with honor and caution.
Beloved, you will agree with me that when a person or a thing is considered beautiful such a person/thing gives joy and is a bundle of blessings.
Strangely at the beautiful gate, there was a lame man who was daily at the place of blessing but was for a long time:
1.a stain,
2.a wrinkle
3.a bad spot
4.a negative reference
5.a helpless fellow
6.a burden to family and friends
7.poor and rejected.
What an irony of life, a poor and incapacitated man at a vibrant and adorable place.
Beloved, the state of the man was not as a result of sin. The issue of his life started while he was in the womb. His problem was older than him. The reality is that a person can be born with and in trouble. Until the man encountered the unchangeable changer, he was but a wretched fellow. He was tamed and made useless to himself and to others.
My dear friend, It is possible for a person to be at the place of abundance and yet be in total lack.
May you not be labeled irrelevant at the place of relevance in Jesus name.
May you not be tamed at the place of freedom in Jesus name.
Any power that has vowed to render you meaningless shall not succeed in Jesus name.
Prayer Points:
1.Powers that have been monitoring me from my mother’s womb, you are wicked, be wasted in the name of Jesus
2.Cord of darkness holding me to ransom, break and release me in the name of Jesus.
3.Spirit of stagnation and limitation, assigned to halt my progress, be wasted in the name of Jesus
4.Powers that want me to be incapacitated at the place of relevance and blessing, be exposed, in the name of Jesus.
5.Witchcraft burial of my glory, release me and catch fire in the name of Jesus.
6.My divine helpers wherever you are, arise, look for me, locate me by fire in the name of Jesus
7.Mercy and goodness of the Lord shall be my daily portion in the name of Jesus.
